The Pulltap's Corkscrew works as follows: (For the sake of easy explaining I will assume the foil is already removed for this hypothetical situation.) Once it is sufficiently deep the lever on the side of the corkscrew pulls it out to remove the cork in one smooth easy movement. The cork remains intact and holds onto the screw as if it had magnetic properties. I am not even sure if an electric corkscrew opener could be as efficient as that. So if you are planning a dinner party remember that although the china is an important consideration, an even more important one is seeing to the comfort of your guests. This is a key element for your party. Fine china, great food, perfect wine, and being an excellent host all go together like a chain. If any link of the chain is kinked the dinner party may not go off too smoothly. But first and foremost when your guests arrive, make sure of their safety. Make sure they have either a designated driver or take their keys. If you will follow these basic common sense rules and take all that into due consideration when you plan a dinner party, then everything will turn out great and your party will be a success.
